| After installing Pioneer TS-C1353 components driven by a Pioneer DEH-1000 head unit hooked to a Kenwood KAC-6201, the speakers just crackle and shut off at about half volume. The mid and tweets are rated at 150Wmax (90Wrms) and the Kenwood only pushes about 120Wrms so I turned the gain pretty low. At first, the tweets got so hot you couldn't even touch them. I'm using crossovers provided but I still have poor performance. Did I screw something up? Any help is welcome. Thanks. |
