Have an NAD 2200 amp. Seems OK, except "soft clip" indicator on front panel is always lit when "soft clip" switch on rear panel is "on". Other than always leaving it "off" does anyone have experience or pointers re this? Presently do not have a schem nor service manual which enhances joy.

| did you cure soft clipping problem?I am looking for transformer for 2200 dont supose you know were i can get one.regards phil |

It's supposed to be that way.
The switch has three sections, one for each channel (to enable the soft-clipping network) and one to turn on the led permanently.
