i have a 95 jeep GCL with a infity gold system in it, i herd that if you have to change the door speakers, like i do, then you might as well get a new head unit and a new amp, because you would need to rewire the entire system. IS THAT TRUE???

I doubt it, most competent installers should be able to make a replacement pair of speakers fit/work even if the car has a wierd setup, you may need to take it to a shop first so you can buy a set of speakers that best fit the location.

I moved your thread to a more appropriate place. ;)

No it is not true. I have done that before i got my system. I replaced the facotry speakers with Pioneers. Its not hard either. Might want to get some mounting brackets though.
