Hi!
I'm about to make my own turntable and wondered if I could use my old rega planar 3's bearing assembly for my own platter which will have a weight around 27 lbs. That's a lot more than the platter it's bearing as a standard. I will use the arm from it too so I really dont need the rega anymore!
If a platter with a weight of 27 lbs is too much, then how much can the rega planar assembly carry and still perform well?
Any ideas?
