Hi,
This is a custom made singled ended 6BM8 tube amp. It is transformer coupled to the output using Hammond SE transformers and uses Jensen(Audionote) oil caps to couple the input and output stages. The power supply uses a choke, a Cerafine 100/100mf cap, and tube rectification. The chassis is very compact (2"x8"x8") and is black anodized aluminum. Volume controls are two Alps pots wired in "shunt" mode. The amp has speaker terminals and a headphone jack. The output is about 1.5 watts.
This is a very nice sounding amp which I used primarily with headphones. It has a very pleasing midrange and great dynamics. There is slight hum but it is not evident when music is played.
I am asking $175 plus shipping in conus. I will include 3 extra pairs of NOS 6BM8 tubes for rolling. These tubes have not been used.
