Hi

I am replacing the opamps in the output stage of my Arcam Alpha 5+

I am going to start with some AD825 though i also have go samples of AD8065 and AD8610.

What bypass caps values should i use for these?

What bypass , on power supply or output?

For output you can use 4.7uF high quality polypropilen cap.

Hi Gasho,

No i was think of power supply actually. They are going to fit into Brown Dog adaptors and i have heard that i should do bypass to ground on V+ and V- and also have a bypass caps from V+ to V-.

But for these opamps i cannot find what values to use.

Any ideas?

Cheers man

You will be amazed what 0.1uF npo caeramics (expensive) between V+ and V- will do for the sound! Try it.
