Hey there, I'm Pete from Melbourne. Just joined this website after quite a while of looking around.
I'm on a beer budget and am more into experimentation than going after the real high end.
I work as a technician so I know my electricity, I'm into both solid state and valve gear.
Projects I'm working on or have coming up include a SE 6V6 based guitar amp, a plinth for an old lenco turntable with a grace arm and I've got a rather sad looking NAD 3020 (the BBC got to it...) that I want to build an outboard preamp for and do a few mods to.
I've got a few Brimar 807's squirreled away that I want to use in a SET amp at some point too. Still gotta find output iron for this.
Oh and half a ton of other things, I have no trouble thinking of things to do, I've just got to find the time... |
