UcD180: Switching Power Supply? - Click HERE for Original Thread
jhenryc
I am planning to build a UcD180 based amplifier where a major design goal is portability and light weight. Toward that end, could I achieve reasonable success using a switching power supply? Could anyone point me to worthwhile designs and or component suppliers?
Thanks!

I would like this as well.

It's so "wrong" to see 2 tiny little UcD's do the work with two beer can caps and a flying saucer of a toroidal shadowing those sweet amps :-)

Well, I plan to build a home-brew UcD and power it with some rendition of my yet untried zero voltage switching power supply. I hope to place the amp amp and power supply in an AT power supply case. I need it bridged, also, since it is to power my woofer.
