Hi all I am on a quest to find a better VGA box I currently have a Kworld 2.0 combo box it has component, composite, s-video and cable inputs and a VGA out. It just isn’t going to cut it when I upgrade to SXGA if you all could post your results here it would help me decide which one to get. Please post things like inputs/outputs (are there even different outputs) output resolutions, and Pros and Cons

Ill start

Kworld usb2.0 combo box
Inputs s-video/ composite/ component / VGA / 1/8 audio / cable TV
Outputs VGA/ USb2.0 for recording on pc/ 1/8 audio

Output resolution unknown but its not good

Pros: Component input

Cons: not worth the money the picture is decent but lots of video noise and controls are terrible. the recording on the pc is even worse quality is terrible and video feed drops off when trying to record at 720x480 remote has lots of unusable controls and there is no tech support the web site does not even show it exists

Bought it at http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...TC-PRICEGRABBER

the x2vga is awsome. You can only buy it new from x2vga.com and it takes a little while to get here from china if you don't air mail it (it took like 2 days to air mail but cost 10 dollars more or so).

you can see the results from the x2vga here on my projector thread.

Perhaps your computer isint fast enough to capture at 720x480. Perhaps it deinterlaces properly at 60fps! (that takes ALOT of CPU power to capture)

Cheers,
Alex
