Hi,
I'm going to set up a wiki to see the feasibility of GP on pre and amp enclsoure. It is just a POLL, not order. The price is tentative but probably very close to final price. Thanks!

#3 is targeted for class AB amp so comes with RCAs and speaker binding post
#1 are #2 are targeted for pre-amp, so come with RCAs (and
XLRs)
However, I used #2 for gainclone putting binding posts in RCA holes without problem |

That's what I'm planning on using #1 for :cool:. You could save yourself some trouble and ship the chassis, rca, and power module unassembled, and let the end user install the rcas themselves. Anyway, it would probably work out better for me, since then I could customize it at any point in the future if I decide to use the chassis for something other than an amp, etc. |

Basically, I'll keep updating info here and wiki.
For example, I do not have size, picture and price information for #5 class A (150W), at least I need update those.
Tentative schedule are as follows
1. collect order/poll up to 02/28/2005
2. post updated prices on 03/15/2005
3. make your change as you wish and pay 25% deposit until 03/31/2005 by paypal from bank account or check
4. finalize order on 03/31/2005
5. normally, product will be available 60 days from then

Guys,
I'm working with the manufacture on the possible overall price reduction. Honestly speaking, there is not much room on production cost. However, I come up with a plan to ask my local friends there to ship the order by surface parcel (by default unless you want to pay more on shipping) directly to the buyer since they are heavy, especially item 4 and 5. Stay tuned for the price update! |

| I am a little confused by the power rating for enclosure 4 & 5. The number as listed on the first post refer to the dissipation for the entire box? In other word, do I need 2 enclosure #5 for a two channel Aleph 5? |

Yes, it will happen as tolded by the manufacturer and I'm waiting for the final prices from the manufacturer .

No ! The heatsink on one #4 is enough for 2-Channel A-5 or 1-Channel A-2, however, the holes for RCA/XLR/speaking binding post/power switch on either #4 or #5 is for mono channel, one set only, not one pair. |

Bad news that they wont ship direct, do we have any idea what the shipping will be to the UK?
Any chance of some estimates of shipping? I wouold do it myself but I dont know the weight or where they will be shipped from and what route they will ship.
