Repairing Panasonic TV - Click HERE for Original Thread
lomtik
Hi,
My 6-years old panasonic (27inch I think, I'll post the model number later) has started to lose picture sometimes. Sometimes it becomes distorted, sometimes dissapears at all.
When you smack it, it comes back.

What I've tried to do.
I have examined the board and found one connection without solder on it, so I've fixed it up and tv was good for another 2 weeks.
Now, I don't see any cold soldering problems.

Where should I start? I've looked at the huge TV repair faq pages (I think Sam's), but there are too many things. If you could help me to pinpoint the problem that would be great.

I have a voltmeter, but no oscilloscope.

Thanks
