Hi, i just wondering if some of you had buy parts from www.ampwares.com.

-I did a order december 12, 2004, And receive nothing yet.
-I had pay for global express mail ( 3 to 7 days) .
-I can see on my credit bill that they charge me.

I send few email, no answer.

I dont know if some of you have the same problem, let me know... or be aware if you want to buy at this store online...

Thanks, If you have answer, that will be great.

I'm hopping to receive my part.... If they had send the part that great, i be waiting.

But, after some email for answer and no respond, i dont know what is happening.

just let me know.

You might consider giving them a call.

when you buy online and you are living OUTSIDE of the USA, you do all online, you dont want to be force to call for answer.

Put a online store if you are able to manage it and be able to give some information to your customer.

If there no way out, i will.

Hi there.......yes I'v e had this trouble from other US suppliers...there seems rather alot of rougue dealers from that side of the ditch.. Hassle the credit card agency....they will threaten to strike them off the list and pass the word around.... perhaps then the company will budge.....

If you ordered via secure email.. you should have got a receipt (return email with details) acknowledging that the order was made....(again keep this for the credit card agency) . If not then ...rotten luck ...perhaps gone bust.
It is suprising how many don't keep records......if you don't show proof of transaction then you have no case.

Hi there......I get this alot.......companies can't be bothered to reply to emails..........and when it comes to the phone they behave as if nothing has happened.
I recently got this from www.electrovalue.com where un-paid people could do a better job at customer relations.

Where money is.....commonsense goes out the window.

High.
I also have ordered things from Ampwares with no reply or goods. They dont answer faxes, emails come back, its many months now so you think they would let us know if they are having any problems or should let us know what the **** is going on. Looks to me like they have gone bust!
Has anyone out there any good news about there orders from Amwares?

They claim to be closed for inventory, reopening for business 7.15.08

I have never done business with these guys so I can't weigh in as to their reliability.. Perhaps others here will be able to do so.

I do recommend foreign buyers stick with the well known sites like Antique Electronic Supply unless they are willing to entertain some unknown level of risk.

Comments about shady sellers this side of the "ditch" notwithstanding I have had far fewer issues with sellers in the USA than elsewhere.

I would immediately file a complaint with your credit card company or paypal at this point, if you have not done so already. For Paypal the limit is 60 days and I have used this against a shady vendor right here on diyaudio with a good outcome for me.

Registered mail or shipping with a tracking option is what I recommend for overseas packages.. I generally insist on it. It should never take more than a few weeks to get something, and if it does the seller owes you regular communication and reassurances that it is on its way. More than a few weeks unless it's a heavy item shipped by sea means something is amiss somewhere.

As an example I get stuff from Hong Kong or Singapore in 3 - 4 days typically by airmail.
