How old are the projectors?
What are the model numbers?
Are replacement bulbs available?
How much time left on the current bulbs.
Do they accept component inputs, or at least video 15 D-sub?
Most importantly, are they fully functional, with no missing pixels?
Do they have remotes?
Are they DLP or LCD?
Guarateed not to be dead on arrival?

Thanks,

Vince

Hey ....

here's a line by line ......

How old are the projectors?

about 4-5 years ...

What are the model numbers?

Proxima Pro AV 9310 .. same as a Sanyo 9000NA ....other one is a NEC MT 1045

Are replacement bulbs available?

yes .. I don't have any though ...

How much time left on the current bulbs.

Sanyo has less than 30hrs used out of 2000..1970 left !!
NEC has about 600 hrs left on it ...

Do they accept component inputs, or at least video 15 D-sub?

YES .. both have :

VGA/DIN15 ..
SVHS/S-Video
the NEC also has RCA/ Composite Video ...
the Sanyo also has Digital Progressive... Sanyo wins in this catagory ... it has 6 different swtichable inputs !!! WITH stereo audio control as well ....

Most importantly, are they fully functional, with no missing pixels?

YES .. both work GREAT !!! Since they are LCD, dead pixels and dust are a way of life :(... but neither has a dead one YET !!! :) The Sanyo also has motorized lens functions , focus, zoom and shift .. ALL work perfectly !!

Do they have remotes? .. YES ..

Are they DLP or LCD? ....LCD ...

Guarateed not to be dead on arrival? .....YES ... I ONLY use UPS for this reason !!!! for the Sanyo, I have ALL the manuals, remoteS wired and wireless , SEVERAL special "Sanyo only" cables ... not to mention the FACTORY original carboard box to ship it in !!!! :)

Thanks,

Vince
