Hey fellas and the occasional chica,
I luckily won a fabulous ask wsx, of course with some minor problem. Apparently the guy that had this before let it overheat and kind of fried the ribbon cable so one of the attach points came right off. The rest of everything on the unit is gold, i only need a ribbon cable for full functionality. Anyone have any ideas on where i could find one? Or is it a custom thingy. I attached a picture (i hope). Thanks |

| IF anyone else is having such problems let me know, i found the company that makes the connectors that go on the ribbon cable, but no luck for any manufacturer making the cable. If anyone knows the wiring schematics for an ASK Impact ribbon cable, please help |

| Did he include the connector ? If he did you could try and reattach it with the help f a hot air blower. |

| Oh yea i have the connector, its just that the ribbon cable itself, the strips look like they were ripped off. Thats why i was wondering if the small connector somehow looped into the larger connector in the cable, or if the connectors were straigth up. Like pin 1 on the controller board is actually pin 1 on the lcd board. |
