Hey guys just a quick question, im building a 6 channel amp at the moment(5 x 200 wrms @ 8 ohm and 1 x 350 wrms @ 8 ohm).
Now the problem is that i have to use 2 toroidal transformers as the 200wrms channels are running on +/-70v (apporx) and the sub channel is running at +/-95v, the question is how do i wire up both the toroidals?? Do i just have them both going to the one ground or what :headbash: ???just didnt want to wire em up until i can get some sort of confirmation to weather it is ok to have them both hooked up to the same ground.

Yes, no problem. The center tap of each transformer is connected to the same common ground. Try to create a solid ground plate (star ground) where all the (4) supply capacitors go to.

The best choice would be to treat the Sub Amp as a completely seperate amplifier in the same case, with the grounds only connected on the signal input or the Power Supply stars (which is usally linked to the case for electrical safety reasons).
That way the currents circulating in the Sub Amp supply stay reliably out of any of the other signals grounds.
Of course, you realise that you could have a sub amp with much more power by bumping up the main supply and making the Sub Amp bridged.
