Get light around the blocking chips? - Click HERE for Original Thread
tjh
I rushed into things and bought a Kogi 14" lcd, noob thing to do, baad idea for use with an AI1000 projector. Well it has the two lcd chips, vertical and horizontal connected by a very short ribbon cable, which despite trying to teach myself to solder etc. I have failed in coming up with a feasible way to extend it to get the chips out of the way. So after toying with some ideas I'm compelled to ask:

Is there a way to put a mirror or some other thing under the chips in order to spread the light from the projector further under the chips? I'm very new to all this so if my thinking is fully flawed please just say so. But using a mirror (or two) wouldn't it be possible to reflect some of the light from the projector in under the chips, then spread it out with a fresnel?
