I remember playing around with only the short FL fresnel ---LCD---80mm Triplet.
What I noticed was the light passing through the lcd was more even but ofcourse the light cone could not fit withing the common 80mm triplet widely available.
Now, what if we used the 135mm diameter triplet. Does anyone have this gear to test and post the results here? |

| I have a 135mm diameter triplet that looks identical to the one at diylabs. I actually plan on doing some tests with a sharp qa-1000, and page mag, a 500w halogen, a front surface mirror, and that triplet tonight, but cant guarantee... |

acorp,
Is the sharp 1000 a 15 inch lcd. If you dont have a 15 inch lcd use a trasparency that is 15 inch diagonal. It needs to be 15 too test the even light spread of a large object. |

| Actually its a 8.4" lcd I think. I dont have any transperancy sheets. |

Ok. How about this then. Light---Short FL Fresnel---Space Where LCD Would Be----135mm Objective Where it should be
And just check if the beam fits withing the back of the 135mm triplet. Take note of distances afterwards.
Thanks in advance. |
