| If I need a split power supply is it possible to use 2 DC wall adapters wired in series? Would that damage the caps inside them? If i need something permanant I'll do something better I just need something to test it. |

you shoud be fine (for testing)

| check the polarityof the outputs when tied together, they are truly in series especially if of different makes.they might be not the same |

Be careful. Sometimes the negative is connected to earth. This means that one of the DC adapters would be shorted if you connect them in series.
Check with a meter first. |
