can any one tell me the single version of the ad 826an opamp as this chip is the best i have heard thanks

There are many opamps better than the AD826 for audio use, for example: AD8610/20, AD8065/66, AD825, AD843, AD845, OPA627, etc. Of course your mileage may vary. If your supply is less than 24V or ±12V then I would go with the AD8610 for a single opamp for line level use. You didn't say what you were using it for.

I think AD825 is what you want. It has very close specs as AD826. Go to Questlink or other online IC database sites.

thanks for your help, im using the chip in my dac the ad 826 an opamp is a lot better than the burr brown opa 2134 ap. so can i convert a surface mount chip to work where the chip it will replace is not a surface mount chip thanks john###########################
