I have two I frame transformers... 12-0-12/117VAC. Can these be used for a Gainclone or are they a little too small (~17VDC)? Any special wiring with the center tap configuration?

it should work. supply voltage(min) is 20V (10 + 10) dont expect a lot of power though.

I use just one 12-0-12/300VA toriod for testing my LM3875 GCs and found it works surprising well in my system. I'd say give it a go and see how it works with your speakers.

Good... Thanks for the answers.

Do I just ignore that -0- (zero) tap?

No! Connect the ground of amp to that value: 0

Cheers
