Would the picture quality using a Proxima Ovation 920 and a 4000 Lumens projector be better then that of a Sony trinitron TV?
Thx

nope - but it would be a lot bigger

I love trinitron TV and monitors - except the 2 faint lines
but its worth it - is a shadow mask thing ,
do they still have it???

I love my projector - but If I could have a 6 foot
by 6 foot trinitron monitor, I would not even think
about the LCD stuff -

Even tho the LCD stuff dont look as good as a good
monitor or TV - its a huge screen, well worth it,
and it can look 90% as good

Nope, no more lines. I'd like to do the projection thing, but I can't really figure out where I'd put it. Which has better quality, using an LCD from a monitor or using one of those little display units, or no difference?

15 inch Used LCD monitor - it would cost the same as the little
7in xga screens new - and have a higher rez

but you would have to use a 400w to get a bright image,
with the 7in its only like 800x600 rez native but you
would get a bright image with a 250w lamp

I use a LCD with a 640x480 rez - its ok, But at 8 feet
you could just see pixels, at 10 feet you cant, on
a 6 foot by 6 foot screen - thats why you want to use
a high-er rez and high-er pixel count LCD
