MC Input Transformers for EMT 950 - Click HERE for Original Thread
snoopyma
Hi,

I am going to buy an EMT 950, but its equalizer amplfier card (model no. 7 950 088) has no mc input transformers. I want to acquire a pair of original transformers (model no. 4 150 056, with amplification ratio 1:7) for my TSD-15 mc cartridge. Can anybody advise me where I can acquire them and what's the price?

What's the difference between the original transformers as stated above and the transformer called STX-21? The STX-21 appears to be a metal box with two input transformers inside and two RCA input jacks and two output jacks (please correct me if I am wrong).

In addition to adding the transformers on the board, it is also needed to change the R750 and R750' from 68 kOhms to 12 KOhms, isn't it?

Any advice/information is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
