I used a computer monitor and a fresnel lens several years ago, and got a cool winamp vis on my wall at 120 inches (dim and blurry, but good enough for the fun of it...)
So I say yes it will be good for winamp (dont expect to be able to read small fonts within the visualizations though)
Damn its expensive though! $110 AU??? I got a 2.5inch lcd screen for $20 canadian brand new with a ps2 controller too! lol...
The resolution is very decent for a 1.8 inch screen. Its abit over 320x240, and thats not too bad for winamp visualations (could be better still...)
Dunno if its strippable though |
