4-pins pot - I'm lost... - Click HERE for Original Thread

Sorry if this is a dummy question (tried Google + search diyAudio)...

Dismounting a cheap "amp" (crappy thing, only the box, connectors and pots are worthy!) I found the volume pot (dual, marked B100k - nothing else) has twice 4 pins. And all four are connected to the rest of the world...

I attached a quick schematic - not sure it's 100% correct. But mysterious enough to me. I cannot understand how the pot is suposed to work. Is it really a pot, BTW? Could anyone have a hint about what this thing is?

What you have is a Loudness Compensation pot.
It's a standard 100K audio taper pot with a tap at 50-60% point.
You can use it as a standard audio pot. Just ignore the tap.
