I'm trying to come up with a simple formula to calculate the system Q (Qs) of an open baffle. I have found empiricly that if the cutoff frequency (Fc) of the baffle = Fs (of the driver) x Qts (of the driver) then Qs ~ 0.7 (max flat). Also we know that if the baffle is infinite then Qs=Qts. So..............

Given: Fs, Qts, Fc

Find: Qs

Thanks for any help........mike
