Does anybody know the ts parameter on this GS Redline 10" sub. I would like to use it for the house, but I don't have any info on it. Also if you have any experience with it, LMK. Here's some pictures of it.

here's some clearer pics of it.

Hi,
just by looking at the pics it seems as though it's worth investigating.
It has a vented pole piece, large magnet, alloy basket. These usually add up to a not cheap price.
Try measuring the Thiel Small parameters yourself.

Looks like you will have to build a sealed box and use eq, since you dont' have parameters. If you hunt around you might find params on the net, do a google search ...

I would test for the ts parameter myself, but I dont have the equipment. I just built a 1.25cuft. ported box tune with a 2.75in. X 5in. port with my 75W sub plate amp. Haven't test it out yet because I barely finished it earlier today. I'll see tomorrow how it'll turn out.

Hi,
the only extra equipment you need are an oscillator, multimeter, and a couple of resistors and a website to talk you through the testing procedure.
Try to find an oscillator secondhand it must cover 5Hz to 200Hz to do the low freq tests. some clever software can use the computer to generate the test signals.
