Hello, I want upgrade my system adding one sobwoofer.
How connect this?
I draw diagram, add the blue circuit is correct?
if not, how obteing signal for sw? |

No one else is answering so...
It is NOT correct if you expect the pot to function as a volume control.
Replace the pot with 2 resistors, about 22K or so, and tie the junction to the - input of an op-amp. The output of the op-amp can go to the filter. After the filter place a volume control. |

explained of another form: I have a CD, and valve amplifier, and need conect the subwoofer but I do not have output for this.
How obteing a signal sample?
subwoofer IN is only for low level.

Use a 5532 op amp with a regulated +15 and -15 volt supply. Take two 15K resistors to the - input of the op amp and provide your hot signal to these resistors from each channel. A 15K from the noninverting input to ground should work ok. Stick a pot from the inverting input to the output of say 50K or so. This will provide anything from less than unity to way more than unity gain for the buffer stage. This will provide the ability to control your low frequency and sum your signal.
Note* May need to check phase of low frequency output.
Ground the unused portion of your op amp. Some say it causes noise. |

Your values will work fine. The only difference would be the total gain available.
