Removing scratches from fresnel lenses? - Click HERE for Original Thread
frozenbum87
Is it possible to remove/correct/reduce scratches on the smooth sides of a fresnel lens? I have a few scratches (especially on the lower fresnel in my split-fresnel design) that show up when the image is projected. Its about 5mm away from the LCD, so its close enough that when I focus on the LCD, it focuses enough on the bottom fresnel that the scratches (and fresnel circles) become noticeable. Is there any kind of liquid or cloth or something that can fix the scratches? Or should I just move the lower fresnel further away from the LCD (like 1cm or so)? I also have the upper fresnel about 5mm above the LCD, should I make this distance further as well?

behind of lcd 1,5cm and front of lcd 1 cm.i know that measurment for focusing its very important and its affected by lamp lumen amount
