Micro DQ-5 TT anyone? - Click HERE for Original Thread
Lorne
Does anyone have experience with a Micro DQ-5? This is not exactly an ubiquitous TT, but enough of them were around so that it has made its way into one or two illustrated data bases on the web. I have a number questions in regards to its construction, strengths (if any) and limitations etc. I want to put my RB-300 arm on it. Any advice or info would be great.

It's a direct drive PLL quartz controlled TT. I guess that this is not what most TT enthusiasts are attracted to, but it is not a bad sounding machine, and it is surprisingly quiet, all things considered. It currently runs a Denon MC 301 II cartridge, with a Shure V15 Type IV on the side.

Thanks — Lorne
