does JBL L44 (containing 2 LE8T full range speakers for one channel) a good choice for a tube fan?and i know some guy build an infinite baffle using LE8T.

The LE8T (and the similar Fostex FF225) both need a
tweeter, as the response falls about about 10 KHz, but
are otherwise good drivers. The Fostex has quite a bit
higher efficiency as I recall, and might be a better choice,
but then the LE8T is vintage JBL...
