I want to replace some smd electrolytic capacitors in a preamp I own with smd film caps, but I can't identify this cap code. Anyone what can help please respond.

That is all that is on these caps. They are input caps for mic preamps. I want lower noise which the film caps will give. Please help if you can.

All you can know from a surface mount electrolytic is the capacitance, 470uF in this case. The other codes are specific to the manufacturer. The working voltage is only sometimes indicated. The voltage can be estimated by physical size, in comparison to others of known value. You could compare the other codes to known ones in a similar fashion.
Surface mount ceramic caps have no markings whatsoever, so it could be worse.:)

Well I identified it its a panasonic the first # is the UF rating the second (6) is the voltage and the (A) is the physical size code.
the last (3F6) is the lot#
Feels good to now be able to move farther into my project. |
