Called the number and spoke to Mr Beckwith. Very nice chap who was not affraid to modify a pair of Tannoy Westminsters!!!!!
essentially active with frighteningly matched components in the crossovers, silver wire everywhere etc etc.
The amps are exactly as show in the above picture with a seperate non switch mode power supply (as he hates them)
The output 8.5w into 8ohms and 13w into 4ohms.
There was an article about Mr Beckwith in Hifi News showing his set up and listening room. |
