ok I am getting fed up of fruitless searches on ebay for a decent triplet. So I am hoping I can make one up with the lenses I have.
I have the following:
50mm dia X 20mm plano-convex 25mm focal length.
55mm dia X 12mm plano-convex 75mm focal length.
37mm dia X 6mm plano-convex 55mm focal length.*
30mm dia X 6mm plano-convex 43mm focal length.*
28mm double concave.*
75mm dia X 10mm double convex 180mm focal length.
* these are taken from my slide projector lens but its cuts the image off and is a bit dark.
Or if anyone has a lens suitable for a 5" psone lcd projector they could sell me at a resonable price maybe.

order the FUJINON tv projection lens at Surplusshed.com

Its only 15$, and will give you a sharp, and very light efficient image! Plus it will make your projector more compact, because the lens has its own focus barrel, and is meant to be pressed right up against the screen (you can also order another similar lens from some science store for 8.95, sorry, cant remember the site or name, but I think they only ship to US)

looks like the 15$ is sold out, but a very similar one is there for the same price, and looks close too, here

HI,

I don’t know if the Fujinon TV lens will be suitable for you. I order one of these (or very similar) last year, and the focal length is 2.5cm.
It's only good if your LCD is smaller than 5".

Oops!
Should have paid more attention, didn’t realise you were using a Psone LCD.

Please ignore my last post. :clown:

By the way, shipping from SShed will cost you $11 (6 weeks) or $25 (4-7days)

Hi Guys.

If I had a 17" monitor, would a 9" fL object lense be sufficient?
