I think i've got everthing i need, Switchcraft 226s, Mogami 2524s, soldering iron, heat shrink tubing, rosin cored solder....
i've never done this before so if anyone has any pictures on the step by step process or any suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated. I've only seen how soldering is done with computer parts, not with guitar cables.
