Amps for trade or sale - Click HERE for Original Thread
Stuart Easson
Hi All,

To make a long story short, I've been buying dead amps and fixing them, now I have to recoup some costs...so it's a resurrected amp sale. I was going to "ebay" the fixed ones, but a) I'm lazy, and b) the shipping makes one at a time less interesting, so I'm hoping you guys will want some or all of these...

Actually I'd prefer to trade your broken amps, or anything electronically related for my good ones, so make me an offer...

I will pay for shipping the good one, you'll pay for shipping the bad ones...if I have techdocs, manuals, harnesses etc you'll get them or copies, I expect the same. Any dead amps need to be repairable, so don't offer me something you've used for target practise.

You can have as many pictures as you want before you buy, and I tested each one to it's max output into it's rated load, with no unstated problems. So while I can't guarantee they'll work forever, I can tell you what I fixed, and guarantee they'll work as specified when they arrive.

So heres what I've got, plus what I think they are worth, everything is negotiable here, but I'm not selling/trading anything for less than I have into it...you can check most of the prices I bought things at on eBay...check the feedback to see the items, if you care...

Thanks for making it this far

Stuart

Would you be interested in a trade for some nice broadcast CD players? I have 3; I think they are Denons (I'm not home right now to check). They have balanced analog outs and coax digital out. One comes with the wired controller. I have the service manual for them. I think all they need is new belts. They were used at a radio station until they quit working.
I would be interested in an Adcom home anp and maybe a car amp.
I also have a Dynaudio D76AF dome mid if you're into speaker building.

Chad,

Sorry, while the CD players are probably a great find for someone, I wouldnt know what to do with them. I am learning about amps, slowly but steadily, once I feel comfortable in that 'genre' I may branch out into fixing other things, but I'm not there yet.

I have been building speakers, and might be interested in a pair of the domes of which you spoke. I'll do a little web searching to learn more about 'em.

Can you post the service manual of the Rockford 250a2 if you have it? Thanks.

Dang... if the Adcom sale falls through, let me know. I'll take both. Thanks!

Check the date on those posts - they're from almost 3 years ago. You may want to contact Stuart directly if you want to get a response.

BWRX -- thanks for pointing that out! I don't fell quite so bad for missing the Adcoms now. :D

I was hoping he might still be around and see that I had responded. when I posted that, I wasn't able to contact members by email yet.

I'm definitely still around, just haven't had much time over the weekend for firing up my old computer to find the files, if I still have them.

I'll let you know soon, presuming I can get the computer up and running, old hard disks can be cranky.
