Smooth side toward the light source on the lower fresnel. Smooth side toward the objective lens on the upper fresnel. (It doesn't matter if the upper fresnel is right below or 1-2" above the LCD, the ridge-orientation is the same.)
Some LCD panels work better with the upper fresnel below, some better with it above. Depends on the panel's response to non-perpendicular light rays. (like viewing angle) Try it both ways to see which you like better. |
