--Background--
Had a headset for my cell phone that went t/u. So rather than go out and buy a new one, I dug through my box o' spare parts and found the basic components for a hands free cell unit (hfcu). Only thing is I wanted to hook up the hcfu to the line-in on my car stereo (5 spd and cell phone = bad combo), so by piecing together everything (mic, 2.5mm input plug) and by having the ouput be dual RCA cables, got it to work... kinda... :apathic:
Basically, everything is direct wired together as if it were the headset.
--Problem--
There is some interference coming through the hfcu from the phone. My electrical knowledge is very limited (can't tell a resistor from a cap). However, car audio is something that I can do. Go figure.
--Question--
Is there a simple line filter (probably of the high pass variety) that I can assemble/install to eliminate the interference? |
