Hey everyone,

First off, I've been lurking on this board for a while, about a year actually. I have a projector and panel. But my results were... less than spectacular. My OHP is an AL2000 i got off ebay for cheap. I'll get on to it's problems in a minute. My panel is the Ovation a822c. It's ok.

My first problem is that my OHP just doesn't give off enough light (I know, not remotely uncommon, lol). I've tried putting alumium foil in all the unreflective places, but that probably just scambling the light :( so any ways to tweak the lights would be cool . It uses FXL bulbs (400watt, 82v) is there a way to make these shine a little brighter?

My biggest problem is that my Ovation didn't come with anything but a power adapter. So, no remote, not vga cable (I really regret this...), no nothing. I'm also not sure if my panel is outputting all the color's it should  but if anyone has a pinout i could use to make a vga cable (or has one to sell) PLEASE tell me. thanks.

This is my first dive into DIY projector suff, so any help is appreciated :D

Hi, same for you.. first search - then ask..
Ok you'll get a VGA Pinout on www.virtuel-blue.de/diybeamer

Then How to
and theres a topic how to build a
Proxima Ovation
VGA Cable & Power supply.

We sell this things here in germany, so a VGa Cable with shipping to the US would be 18$.

Thanks
Bernhard
