However they seem to be very good quality tubes (and so worthwhile the effort to use them), but searching here and there couldn't find a schematic employing them. The only one I know of that's "similar" is its cousin, the EC86. If you decide on using the EC88, stay clear from too low bias voltage. This tube isn't linear in that region. Otherwise the kinds of applications you could use it for are similar to the ones for the USSR 6C45-P. Also keep in mind that it has multiple gridpin connections and may tend to oscillate without properly used gridstopper resistors. A sample circuit: EL34 SE Cheers,;)
