aleph3, 30 and 5 - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hi,

Still deciding what to build, I come up with following questions.

1. Why there would be difference in power at 4ohm between 3 and 30 (60 vs 45).

2. why 5's distortion is higher than 3/30 ?

To a newbie like me, 3 and 5 are very similar except
the rail V and # of output devices. 3 and 30 are very similar
except the # of output devices.

Perhaps, am I making the differences too simplified ?

The Aleph 30 has an extra output device on each rail, and i think
it may be biased a little higher than the Aleph 3 - i think that's
why it does better into a 4 ohm load.
