Don't you have that backward? On-axis means pointing at you.

Most people say q forms are flimsy and need lots of reinforcement to get any midbass from them. Doors are usually better for that. But for imaging kicks are better. So it depends on what you're looking for.

I aheve some 5.25 quart in doors now(coax) , the imaging is not bad
i think i would prefer the midbass and work on the imaging, since i have to now mount the tweeter on the door panel i guess i can work on the imaging. Any thyoughts on mounting the tweeters?
also any thoughts on wether to use a 5.25 or 6.5 woofer .
thanks jeff

Ever played with fiberglass? It's fairly easy to work with, and would allow you to get some imaging from the doors. If you're up for the challenge, try making some fiberglass pieces for your doors ... . 2¢

As long as you are getting messy, put your fiberglass into some custom kick panels!
