Sorry all, my first search of this forum came up with nothing hence the reason for my previous post. I researched and found two other threads about joytech LCD's. Looks like they would be ok for a smaller projection (50"-60") but would not be good for a larger 100". If anyone has anymore info i would be intrested as i might consder building a projector based on a smaller final screen size.

| I bought a mini screen for my gamecube, it was like 5.5" it was very crappy! the contrast sucked big time. I'd see if you could test it out somewhere before you buy it. I'm pretty sure gamestop would let you do that. |

What about that 7" how would it be?
I didn't see any specs, but it has hook ups for quite a bit of things. |

| Hey guys I see the ambition and the quest for answers but (i am not going to criticize anyone) the lowest possible resolution we can go for a projector is 480x234 any lower and you will get loads of screen door at any size. Screen door depends on how far away you are from a projection you would'nt want a 60" projector and have to sit 40 feet back. I do not think these LCD's are any good because of the low prices and the poor job done to provide resolution. If they don't provide the resolution than it probably isn't any good. Remember I am not trying to criticize anyone I am just giving my opinion on things, you guys are great for trying different things but you should try to remeber a few rules of projection. |
