Pulled these 8" things from a $29.00 Symphonic Stereo.
True international workmanship, had "Made in Peru" stamped on the back.
I patched the 3" hole in both speakers with some shag carpet and spray painted them with six heavy coats of Neon Green Paint.
The carpet and paint have totally attenuated the high end and these can now truely be called "Low End Only" drivers. In truth what little output they have sounds horrible, but they really look kinda' neat playing in a dark room with a black light on them.
If you'd like to try the atheist of perfection, well these are perfect. |
