Hello!
Is this OHP something I can use for a DIY lcd projector?
http://www.touchboards.com/a3m/ohp2660.asp
I can get a used one for approx. $340...
But I really don't know if the parts are usable?!?
Hope someone have a few good advice! |

Ok, maybe this document can say more about this OHP:

Which parts must I remove?
And which parts can I use for the projector?
What if I put the whole thing in a wood box, and add a new light and some new fresnel lenses...?
Any ideas, folks? |

Head: Open triplet, varifocal lens
Illumination: 2,500 lumens ANSI
The optics are good, but that is a little dim, especially for $340. What exactly are you planning on doing? Are you stripping an lcd and placing it on the ohp stage, or using the ohp for parts. I would recommend a metal halide ohp if you can find one for placing an lcd on the stage. I'm using an Elmo Solar Deluxe; its about 7000 lumens. If you'd like, you can email me for some pics of the setup. Email is in my profile. |
