| hi, i couldnt help but notice that the popularity of tubes has not encouraged manufacturers into making their tubes bore "decrative". why cant you get blue ones,that would be so cool. |

Not sure whether JJ/TESLA still makes blue EL34s but the blue EL34s once made by TESLA certainly were popular in Asia.
Cool or not is a matter of taste I suppose but people sure are willing to pay more for a retro looking tube.

You could always put a blue LED in the middle of the valve socket (pointing up) to give a pretty blue glow to the valve. |

Or use lots of 6L6s and similar blue-glow tubes. :D

| wow! blue glowing tubes! the deep orange which my marshall (guitar amp) gives off is pretty but surely there could be decorations. |
