What's wrong with getting a high power inverter and then hooking it up to power a Home Theatre receiver with Digital Amplifiers? Seems to me you'll get a DAC in addition to six channels of fairly high quality sound?

A good high power inverter would cost I think 300 bucks. But you would still need a subwoofer. I think its a good idea, nothing wrong with it. If you needed to change the controls you probaly would have to go to the trunk. Unless you could mount the reciever in the dash then. Or take out the golve compartment and mount it their.
