Pass Amp Types and Descriptions - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hello All,

I am somewhat new to the forum. I get lost or confused when postings mention specific Pass amplifier models.

Is there a resource that gives a quick synopsis of the different types discussed here?

Things like basic topology, feedback yes/no, number of output devices, power rating etc.

I would prefer my answer in the form of a link or download, not in in the form of a reply. (some one will do that anyway)

It would be helpful for those of us new babies who have to follow along.

You can start here:
http://www.passdiy.com/legacy.htm
or here
http://www.passlabs.com/aleph.htm

Hope this helps

Thanks,

That was too easy.

It didn't occur to me that some one would post their schematics for all the world to see. Especialy when you take into account how simple to duplicate they are.

Just goes to show how truly generous Nelson Pass is.

So, to add to the confusion,

What is the Aleph 30 then? It's not listed on passlabs website.

Aleph30 and Aleph60 are manufactured by Volksamp and you can find them here:
http://www.volksamp.com/products.htm
Aleph30 is improved Aleph3 and Aleph60 is improved Aleph2.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

The Aleph 2 is 100W and the Aleph 60 is 60W...still the 60 is an improved 2.
