Is it bad to use old fiberglass??? - Click HERE for Original Thread
SoloScott
When the weather got cold last Fall, I put the fiberglass sub project away for the year. I still have half a gallon of fg resin left, but should I use it? I read somewhere that old resin is not as good as new stuff.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

If it is in a sealed metal container it should still be fine, if it looks thicker than normal just thin it with acetone, I've restored to useability old resin that was so viscus it you could scoop it out with a fork :)

Never store resin in plastic containers, the volatiles evaporate out through the plastic.
