The RCA 1644 tube is a 12L8. Not a 12L6. The two sections share a common cathode.
They were probably designed to be used in the output stage of radio receivers. |

yeah, it's a 12L8.
shared cathode and screen, so ideal for PP.
but, unfortunately it is rated only 2,5w Pa, each section.. so flea power, unless you use your whole set in PPP ;) |
