I decided to build a wiki for the group buy.

The cost is roughly this for priority mail.

While waiting for my source to decide wether he can sell me some other chips :cannotbe: I made some searching around and I got some decent prices (but substantially higher than the ones I was able to offer before) with a minimum order of 100 pcs.
Considering the costs of shipping and taxes I think I won't be able to offer the chips at less than 10€ if I decide to change the source.
I cross all the fingers I have ;) and wait for a positive answer from my previous source.

Hello again to all,
I'm back from a work travel but the news about the CS8414 are bad. My source can't sell me more chips.
I looked around and the best quote I found is for about 10 Eur/pc (but I need to purchase 100 pcs).
If there is enough interest even with this price I can go on, but I will need individual confirmation on the wiki; otherwise the group buy can be considered over.

I think I found another source for the CS8414 chips. Not that dirt cheap but quite good, I think that I will be able to offer them at about 8-9 Eur /pc, most depends on the taxes and shipping I will have to pay.

Depends, chances are your 8412 is in DIP package, the 8414 only comes in surface mount packages. So - no, unless your 8412 is SMT.

Finally I was able to get some further stock (about 20 pcs) of CS8414, so I'm "on business" again.
